Hawa Mahal is located in the heart of the beautiful Pink City of Jaipur in Rajasthan.The complex and attractive mask of the Palace of the Winds is probably the most recognized building in Jaipur. Built in 1799, it has five floors, with smaller windows and screen rows. Wind(Hawa) used to flow through the openings, hence giving the palace name as Hawa Mahal. the palace was constructed using red & pink sandstone

Astrography observatory used to measure the distance and position of celestial objects. There are five such observatories in India, the largest of which is in Jaipur. The instruments at the Jaipur Jantar Mantar are made of stone and are very large structures. In Jantar Jantar, there are 19 big instruments, each serving a specific purpose. The most important of these is the Samrat Yantra, which is the largest Sundial in the country. Jaipur Jantar Mantar is made of stone and has very large structures. To ensure accuracy, the structures were first made out of the wood and the measurements were adjusted. Once the dimensions were completed, the construction was repeated in stone to give a wonderful Jantar Mantar.
